So in trying to reconnect with the me that used to be, I have been spending a lot of time on Tumblr. I have explored many of the yoga and consciousness raising sites. Here’s a post from unconditionedconsciousness and how true it is? So says an only child – who doesn’t know if he always is!

i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
Thirty-seven years ago was that most amazing day that I’ve thank God for forever, because on August 23, 1975 Kathleen Anne Clarke and I were married! And after 37 years I still love her and she is still my best friend. She’s given me four wonderful children and has been my rock through everything! Yesterday I was lamenting that I never became a teacher, but there’s no laments when it comes to marrying Kathy, I don’t even want to image a life without her!!
So the question whirling around in my head this morning is,Is being nostalgic trying to regain your youth or is it just trying to remember where you came from and who you were? Jerry Jeff has a song that kinda’ sum it up, it starts like this…
So that’s where my head was at
In a book and a funky hat
On the road with Kerouac
Searching for the truth
Sometimes I’m amazed
Looking back at a certain phase
Wet my thumb and I turn the page
Oh, what was I trying to prove?
So this morning I needed to do some writing at work so out came some Native American flute music. It came from an artist that I have never heard before Gary Stroutsos and his 2011 release Inside Tutka Bay and I am a fan! Additionally I have a lot of catching up to do because his career started with Native American music in 1994 when he moved from Washington to North Dakota and includes a gazillion albums!
